Training and development of managerial skills
Training and development of managerial skills has been a new product line within the offer of Outward Bound - Česká cesta since 2005.
It is based on the need to provide the clients with a tangible output from the completed course based on their specific needs, in form of acquired managerial skills.
Motto:
We will discover your weakness, so that nobody else could discover it.
We regard the training form only as a means to achieve the set objectives. We therefore combine the two main directions we can encounter on our market in the area of corporate education. We effectively connect the many years of our experience with outdoor programmes, based on the active involvement and individual experience of the participants, with the tools and approaches from the indoor environment.
This product area is based on a repeated training of selected skills.
The participants are offered the necessary tools and theoretical models, which they subsequently master within the offered activities.
The primary objective is to transfer the acquired abilities and skills into the actual working environment.
Within this product line, we are the first in the Czech Republic for work with the method Theatre in Management.
target audience
The training courses are intended for individuals, working groups and teams, which need to acquire specific managerial skills to use them in the actual working environment.
In the training course, you will gain insight into the overall context relating to a particular skill. We will offer you the theoretical background, functional models and tools to be used in practice. Within the repeated training, you will connect the theory with the practice, and transform it into a specific skill.
The training is suitable for those, who
- have an idea about the skills they need to strengthen and improve
- would like to use self-reflection to learn, in which areas they can do better, in order to improve in these areas
- are ready to actively participate in the training, and are willing to work on themselves; to look for and test new approaches leading to development of their skills.
types of courses we conduct:
- one-time training programmes focused on partial managerial skills selected based on the client’s specific needs
- long-term project of management development consisting of a series of courses for the same group of participants, in which we gradually develop partial managerial skills, in order to eventually use and verify them in solving of complex tasks and actual projects
